Diddy‘s image has become so contaminated that no one in Tinseltown wishes to connect with him — and any stars tied to his gatherings or accusations will probably cough up cash to avoid being implicated in a lawsuit … according to an expert in crisis communications.
Evan Nierman, a seasoned crisis public relations consultant, appeared on “TMZ Live” this Monday, where we inquired about his guidance for celebrities potentially facing association with Diddy in civil litigations.
In one of the latest legal actions against Diddy, two unnamed public figures are mentioned, and Evan notes that those individuals, no matter who they might be, would be prudent to settle with the complainants and their lawyer Tony Buzbee … in order to steer clear of being connected to Diddy.
Evan emphasizes that even if they are blameless, being mentioned alongside Diddy in a lawsuit could spell disaster for a celebrity’s brand … illustrating just how harmful Diddy’s reputation has become following his indictments.
According to Evan, Buzbee is leveraging the media to coerce celebrities into settling cases before they reach court, which is simply how the industry operates … and forking over money to silently resolve a major issue is sound judgment, public relations-wise.

While Evan implies that most entertainers will go to great lengths to keep their identities hidden … he suspects several individuals in Hollywood may soon find themselves embroiled in Diddy’s controversies.
As for Diddy, he has rejected all charges leveled against him, but Evan states that the public relations harm is irreversible and Diddy’s brand resurrection will be a Herculean task.
