First Week Numbers For Freddie Gibbs ‘You Only Die 1nce’ Are Rough

Freddie Gibbs has never been about sales.

His reputation was established with his tight bars and comedic social media persona.

Nevertheless, it’s good to sell some music, and his latest effort, You Only Die Once, isn’t doing a very good job at that.

It posted 11K in its first week, opening 104 on the Billboard 200.

That’s about half of what Gibbs’ last album, $oul $old $eparately, did first week.

Does Gibbs have a problem or is this just how the industry is these days
