Jeremy Allen White seems destined to embody Bruce Springsteen …. judging by the recent images from the film set.
JAW portrays The Boss from 1982 … the film titled “Deliver Me From Nowhere” explores the creation of his acclaimed album, “Nebraska.”
Jeremy fully embraces Bruce’s essence, donning light blue denim and a beige work coat, often with a cigarette in hand. In other instances, he sports the classic black leather jacket, plaid shirt, and a hat.
There was one minor hurdle … Bruce has brown eyes, while Jeremy’s are blue — but they tackled it with contact lenses.
The two share a bit of history … The star of “Bear” attended the premiere of “Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band” and snapped photos with Bruce.
“Nebraska” marked a pivotal moment for Bruce. The album is regarded as a masterpiece of inspiration … filled with his signature storytelling … highlighting the struggles of working-class individuals in search of meaning in life.
As noted by the studio, “‘Nebraska’ is viewed as one of Springsteen’s most lasting creations — a raw, haunting acoustic album featuring lost souls on a quest for belief.”
Interesting tidbit … Bruce recorded the album in a bedroom in New Jersey, all without the presence of his E Street Band.
The film is set for release next year.
