Justin Bieber is reflecting on Liam Payne and his followers in the wake of the One Direction star’s passing, encouraging fans to grieve in their own way.
The singer shared a heartfelt message on his Instagram Stories Monday, honoring Liam by posting a fan video that showcased the various tributes held in his memory.
A message accompanying the video stated … “Rest in Peace, Liam.”
The recording featured a heartfelt voice-over urging Liam’s admirers to mourn the loss of the 1D icon, even if they had never met him personally.
The video further conveyed the message … “Always remember: you have the right to grieve as a fan. You are allowed to hold affection for someone you have never met. You can cherish an artist for their work. It’s okay to feel sad, to shatter, and to feel like a portion of you has vanished.”
Justin seemed to endorse this message by reposting the video on his social platform, aligning himself with numerous other celebrities who’ve paid tribute to Liam over the last week.
As previously reported by TMZ, Liam was declared dead at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina last Wednesday after a fall from a third-floor balcony. Authorities have indicated that Liam jumped, with reports suggesting that substances may have influenced his potential suicide — the inquiry is still in progress.

Early findings from the autopsy of the artist reveal various substances were present in his bloodstream at the time of his passing … including a combination of drugs referred to as “pink cocaine.” Besides cocaine and crack, reports indicate that “Cristal” — the Argentine variant of methamphetamine — was also discovered, along with other illegal narcotics.
Liam had traveled to Buenos Aires to support his former bandmate Niall Horan during his performance at the Movistar Arena earlier this month … which eventually led him to prolong his stay that was initially planned for just five days.
Liam leaves behind his 7-year-old son, Bear … a child he shares with ex-partner Cheryl Cole.
He was 31 years old.
