Kehlani is locked in a custody battle with her ex, Javaughn Young-White, over their daughter.
Social media has gotten hold of some of the court documents, and there’s some pretty wild stuff in them
White alleges that Kehlani “claims to see spirits and believes our daughter’s spirit was one of Kehlani’s wives in a past life.”
He backs that up with a chat message conversation in which he asks Kehlani what part of the world she believes their daughter lived in her past life and she answers “south amurrrica she was my wife once lol.”
Kehlani clarified that in a long message posted on Instagram.
“As a person that has always gotten little readings here and there, i was connected to an older woman for a ‘past life’ reading. i shared what i considered to be a lighthearted recap with my child’s father, laughing at it & considering it something light & not to be taken serious,” she typed. ”To have those screenshots then doctored, the rest of messages left out, to make me seem like i consider myself to be in an inappropriate relationship with my DAUGHTER.. is the most heartbreaking thing i’ve ever f*cking heard.”
