“Not Like Us,” a diss aimed at Drake, stands as Kendrick Lamar’s most significant success.

It transcends just being an infectious Mustard production. There’s an underlying message embedded within.

In a discussion with SZA for Harper’s Bazaar, K. Dot shared his personal interpretation of “Not Like Us.”

“’Not Like Us’ embodies the essence of who I am; it reflects the kind of man I choose to depict. If you resonate with the type of man I represent… this man upholds principles, possesses values, and stands firmly for his beliefs. He doesn’t cater to anyone. He’s an individual capable of acknowledging his shortcomings and openly discussing them, delving into fear-driven ideologies or experiences while expressing them without feeling diminished. When I contemplate ‘Not Like Us,’ I envision myself and anyone else who relates to that,” he articulated.

Could this be the contrary to Drake’s persona?
