Lamar Odom reflects on his own battles with illegal substances following Liam Payne‘s toxicology findings … suggesting that the drugs may have caused the late artist to perceive auditory hallucinations.
Spotted in Encino, CA, Lamar was approached by our photographer who inquired whether he had experimented with the drug combination dubbed “pink cocaine,” which consists of ketamine, methamphetamine, and ecstasy—substances identified in Liam’s system.

Lamar, who is in recovery and operates the Lamar Recovery Group, admitted to having experimented with each drug found in Liam’s system … especially naming cocaine and crack, which Lamar categorizes as the most detrimental.
In Lamar’s informed view, these illegal substances may have contributed to Liam’s tragic passing … specifically, by potentially leading him to experience hallucinations.
This aligns with one of the theories put forth by police concerning Liam’s tragic fall from the balcony of his hotel suite located on the third floor of the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires.
Lamar recounts that during his substance use, he would often hear voices … and he believes that Liam may have had similar experiences leading up to his death.
Liam, as we previously reported, had been asserting his sobriety earlier this year after struggling with addiction to drugs and alcohol during his time with One Direction … yet, authorities have stated he was under the influence of substances detailed in the toxicology report, with Lamar mentioning that Liam was “really indulging.”
Lamar possesses substantial life lessons, and he is now dedicated to aiding individuals in maintaining sobriety … expressing his hope that Liam’s death will act as a sobering wake-up call for many, including celebrities in Hollywood.
