Lennox Lewis against Mike Tyson II?!
Should Tyson overcome Jake Paul in November, The Lion expressed to TMZ Sports that he might contemplate giving Iron Mike another shot at him!
This week, we met up with Lewis in NYC and inquired about his opinions on the 58-year-old’s impending clash with the 27-year-old Jake.
Lewis, who was out championing Rocavaka vodka, remarked that the upcoming fight would hinge on Tyson’s agility and ring expertise, especially considering the vast age gap between him and the considerably younger Paul, who holds a record of 10-1.
“If he maintains good condition, I believe he can manage it,” he stated.
If that scenario unfolds, Lewis, who last stepped into the ring in 2003, would still be eager to seek a rematch with Tyson from their bout back in 2002.
If you missed it, their confrontation was highly awaited, showcased through a press conference scuffle involving both fighters and their teams, extensive trash talking, along with celebrity figures from Denzel Washington to Michael Jordan and Donald Trump.
Lennox triumphed over Tyson in the 8th round by KO … with both fighters taking home a whopping $17.5 million. Thus, it’s easy to understand why Lennox (41-2, 32 KOs) is open to a potential rematch.
