Liam Payne’s devastated partner, Kate Cassidy, posted a touching homage to the beloved star, disclosing that she and the “love of her existence” had plans to marry in the upcoming year.
On Wednesday, Kate shared a collection of photos of her and Liam on Instagram, paired with an emotional caption noting that just weeks prior, he had given her a note he insisted she not open at the time — expressing his desire to wed her within a year.
In her heartfelt message, Kate expressed, “Liam, I am certain we’ll be united eternally, albeit not in the manner we envisioned. You shall always remain in my heart. I have gained a guardian angel.”
In the latter part of her message, she referred to him as the “most gentle spirit” with the most “playful” essence, adding that she feels she has lost the finest part of herself.
Kate concluded her message with “444” — an “angel number” symbolizing a significant message of affection, support, and direction. This clearly embodied a special significance for the bond she shared with Liam.
Before his tragic fall from a hotel balcony, Kate had been by Liam’s side in Argentina. As TMZ covered, she opted to return to Florida just days before his untimely passing, mentioning that she was eager to return home after what started as a 5-day trip extended into a 2-week adventure.
As previously mentioned, the preliminary findings from Liam’s autopsy revealed a combination of substances, including a substance referred to as “pink cocaine,” present in his system at the time of passing. Tragically, Liam fell from the third-story balcony of his room at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires on Wednesday, October 16.
