Lil Durk wishes for everyone to keep in mind that he remains The Voice of the streets. His latest clip shared on social platforms showcases the rap icon in his melodious element while he’s on his European tour.
In this fresh track, he asserts, “I’m Smurk, fee 500, I’m releasing my deluxe.” He further raps, “I’m telling brodie countless times, who rides with us and who doesn’t/ When you’re present, avoid your phone, you love to FaceTime all the foes.”
In the new release, he showcases his style in front of the Big Ben clock tower prior to the Chicago Bears football match in London. The Grammy-winning artist garnered admiration from notable talents such as G Herbo, Rob49, Central Cee, Lucki, and others on his recent post.
Durk also utilized the new track to reflect on the individuals within his inner circle whom he misses, expressing that he has no qualms about maintaining the animosities with those he dislikes. On a brighter note, he recently displayed a compassionate side by offering assistance to those affected by Hurricane Milton in Florida.
When the update emerged, he posted on his Instagram Story, “My team and I at the Neighborhood Heroes Foundation want to shine a light on the dire situation in Florida. We aim to act quickly and [are] organizing to gather water and food for those dealing with the hurricane aftermath.”
He stands alongside other Chicago-raised artists like G Herbo, Kanye West, Chance The Rapper, Common, and more, all of whom have established foundations to make a positive contribution to the community while working to reshape the narrative around their cherished city.
After teasing his deluxe edition for some time, he recently unveiled the cover art for his upcoming album, Deep Thoughts, which is set to release on Oct. 18. This project promises features from Hunxho and Drake. Durk has been excelling in collaborations recently, generating excitement among fans eager for a new full-length album from the prominent artist soon.
