Lil Durk’s Deep Thoughts appears to be delayed beyond its original schedule.

The album was initially set to be released on streaming platforms on Friday (October 18), featuring tracks such as “Monitoring Me,” “Turn Up A Notch,” and “Late Checkout” with Hunxho. However, on Monday (October 14), fans on social media noticed that the pre-save link on Apple Music now indicates a new date of November 22.

As of this update, the rapper from Chicago has not made an official statement to confirm the postponement. On October 13, he shared a teaser— one of several in recent days — showing him in front of London’s iconic Big Ben clock tower.

“I’m tellin’ brodie a thousand times who rolls with us and who doesn’t / When you’re here, keep your phone away, you love to FaceTime all the rivals / When they’re gone, you try to claim them to gain some fame, that’s just ridiculous,” Lil Durk rapped in the brief music clip. “The last time this battle was this monumental, it was B.I.G. and Pac / Flowin’ through my veins, I missed the drugs.”

The founder of Only the Family recently released his album from 2023 titled Almost Healed. Alongside the Grammy Award-winning track “All My Life” featuring J. Cole, this 21-track project showcased collaborations with Alicia Keys, Morgan Wallen, Juice WRLD, and others, as well as frequent partners like Future and Lil Baby.

“You can be nearly mended from any hardship, whether it’s a broken heart or a fractured limb—anything, you know? The title alone resonates,” Lil Durk explained to Apple Music’s Nadeska Alexis at the release of the album. “It encapsulates your experiences. You can perceive it, feel it, [and] even hear it.”

On Sunday (October 20), the “No Auto Durk” artist is set to take the stage at the United Center to mark his 32nd birthday. While special guests are confirmed to join him, their identities have yet to be disclosed.
