Lil Uzi Vert is set to unveil his upcoming studio album, Eternal Atake 2, on November 1st. On Thursday (October 24th), the artist known for “Just Wanna Rock” took to social media to share the official album cover and a teaser trailer.

The artwork showcases a multitude of women with shimmering eyes adorned in Uzi-themed apparel. Notably, one character sports a key levitating above her head, likely nodding to the keyhole symbols that were prominent in the initial Eternal Atake campaign. The accompanying promotional video depicts the Philadelphia artist awakening inside a UFO after having “mysteriously disappeared” on March 6, 2020 — the date of the first album’s launch.

Interestingly, the recently released “Uzi The Earthling! (TV Show Theme)” was not featured on the pre-order page for the upcoming album on iTunes. This 30-second tune, devoid of Uzi’s own contributions, included lyrics such as, “Here’s the story of a guy named Uzi/ Who’s recognized for his jewels and flair/ From the streets to the stage, boy is nonstop/ Crafting tunes that’ll bring you joy.”

Eternal Atake was released with just one feature, from Syd, along with notable tracks like “Baby Pluto,” “P2,” and “Futsal Shuffle 2020.” Uzi later expanded the album to include collaborations with Young Thug, NAV, Chief Keef, Lil Durk, 21 Savage, Future, and more.

In a conversation with W Magazine, Uzi described the project as a “simplified” version of his original vision. “All my music for Eternal Atake was leaked, forcing me to recreate it. It never achieved its full potential — I realized it wasn’t the sound I intended,” he shared. “Let’s just say Eternal Atake, for another artist, could have been excellent because it was toned down enough for everyone to appreciate, but that doesn’t reflect my artistry. I aim for my new music to resonate more intimately with my true fans. I want it to possess an almost cult-like feel.”
