Luke Combs, Eric Church, along with numerous other country music icons, gathered for a charitable endeavor … successfully collecting a significant amount of funds for victims of Hurricane Helene.
On Saturday evening, twelve prominent country music artists performed at Bank of America Stadium, achieving record attendance with 82,193 fans, marking the largest concert to take place there in its nearly three-decade existence.
The Panthers compete at BoA Stadium … and the owner of the team, David Tepper, along with his spouse Nicole, generously permitted the stars to utilize the venue at no cost, ensuring that all funds raised would go directly to those who need it most.
Combs elaborated on how this remarkable event — which typically requires extensive planning over several months — was organized in a mere four weeks.
Luke explained that in the wake of the hurricane, he reached out to his manager … expressing the need for a benefit concert. He mentioned that his manager contacted the Carolina Panthers, and Luke then reached out to Church — who promptly agreed to participate.
According to Combs, the Teppers not only provided the venue but also covered all expenses related to food, beverages, parking, and labor, ensuring that none of the proceeds would be diminished.
Ultimately, the concert, featuring performances by Combs, Church, Keith Urban, James Taylor, Billy Strings, Sheryl Crow, The Avett Brothers, and several other artists, garnered an impressive $24.5 million for Hurricane Helene relief efforts.
