With Halloween (October 31st) looming closely, Megan Thee Stallion is already gearing up for her yearly Hottieween bash. Although the “Body” artist has yet to unveil her personal costume, she did express her desire to see Victoria Monét dress up as her.
During a discussion with NYLON published on Monday (October 28th), Megan revealed her hope that the Grammy-winning singer would mimic one of her legendary outfits. “People often say we resemble each other, so I’d be thrilled to witness how she would portray me. She’s incredibly stunning,” the Houston MC commented. “I envision her choosing either the green ensemble from the ‘Bigger In Texas’ music video or … the classic Tina Snow cover.”
In the visuals for “Bigger In Texas,” featured on MEGAN: ACT II, Megan donned a green two-piece outfit, complemented by a cowboy hat and jade bangles. Conversely, the 2018 Tina Snow cover showcased her as a homage to Playboy, flaunting blonde tresses, white fingernails, and a frosty mini skirt paired with a bra top.
Monét was present at the 2023 Hottieween celebration — themed around Tim Burton’s renowned films — appearing as a nun draped in red lace. In contrast, Megan arrived as one of the talking flowers from the live-action adaptation of Alice in Wonderland.
Additionally, it’s notable that the Texas artist revealed two more costumes for that year’s Halloween festivities. In one photo collection, Megan took on the persona of Death the Kid from the manga series “Soul Eater.” In another ensemble, she brilliantly embodied Greta from the 1990 comedy-horror classic Gremlins 2: The New Batch.
On the musical front, Monét and Megan previously collaborated on “Spin,” a track featured on the “Mamushi” hitmaker’s self-titled third studio album.
Earlier in her chat with NYLON, the rap sensation discussed fans’ initial reactions to MEGAN: ACT II. “Hearing everyone say, ‘Oh my goodness, this is fantastic. No skips, no critiques. 10 out of 10.’ warms my heart immensely.”
