Megan Thee Stallion has initiated legal proceedings against Milagro Gramz for allegedly disseminating “false information” concerning her 2020 shooting incident involving Tory Lanez. On Wednesday (Oct. 30), the rapper’s legal representatives submitted a lawsuit for defamation against the YouTuber, who’s given name is Milagro Elizabeth Cooper.

As reported by Billboard, Gramz is accused of launching a campaign to “denigrate, belittle, insult, and spread untrue statements” about Megan. Included in the accusations is the circulation of a deepfake pornographic clip allegedly involving the “Mamushi” performer.

The attorney for the Houston star, Quinn Emanuel, emphasized: “Enough is enough. Ms. Pete — a survivor of a violent offense and an advocate for women’s rights to her millions of admirers globally — will no longer tolerate [the] defendant’s harassment campaign.”

For those not in the loop, a sex tape purportedly featuring the Grammy-winning artist emerged online in June. Thankfully, a significant number of her supporters swiftly identified the video’s AI-generated aspects, with #WeLoveYouMegan trending with thousands of tweets on Twitter.

“It’s truly disturbing how some individuals go out of their way to harm me when they witness my success,” Megan remarked. “You all [have] crossed the line. This fake nonsense ends today; I mean it.”

Apart from the claims of intentional emotional distress and privacy violations, Gramz reportedly propagated misleading assertions regarding whether Megan sustained a gunshot wound to her foot.

“Defendant Cooper’s allegations recklessly ignored the facts and insinuated that the weapon did not appear in court due to its supposed disappearance. This is false,” asserted another paragraph from Megan’s legal team. “The weapon remains in the possession of the Los Angeles Police Department.”

In response to the lawsuit, Gramz took to X, suggesting, “[The] countersuit [is] gon’ be epic.” The media figure also noted how she “went from being overlooked to an alleged participant,” likely in relation to conjecture about her ties to Lanez: “[Wow], you guys [are] moving too fast for me.”
