The cast members of “Napoleon Dynamite” made a surprise visit to a delightful diner in Missouri over the weekend, thrilling patrons just as chatter about a potential sequel to the beloved film persists.
The co-owner of John’s Waffle & Pancake House, Dona Ramadani, informed TMZ that the cozy Kennett, Missouri establishment was quite busy on Sunday … when the unsuspecting Jon Heder, Efren Ramirez, and Jon Gries just happened to sit down at the counter.
The trio from the hugely popular 2004 comedy finally caught the eye of a customer amid all the excitement … which led to a flood of admirers. Fortunately, everything went smoothly … according to DR, the three were incredibly friendly and accommodated all requests for photos and autographs … before graciously leaving a “very generous” tip.
It appears that the three stars were merely passing through after a Q&A screening of their movie in Paragould, Arkansas … and decided to stop at a diner that’s accustomed to celebrity visits … as Dona mentioned that Kennett local Sheryl Crow often stops by too.
This visit sparked fan excitement as Efren, who portrayed Pedro in the film, recently alluded to Collider that discussions for a sequel are indeed underway … “Everyone is eager for a sequel — and I can legally state that the door isn’t closed yet.”
It certainly looks like plenty of fans are still eager to cast their votes for Pedro.
