Quando Rondo issued a heartfelt message in response to the recent news about Lil Durk’s arrest on murder-for-hire allegations. It’s high time we move past that. We’ve already endured so much loss, and it weighs heavily on my heart to extend forgiveness to anyone I’ve had conflicts with before. It’s all love from my side. While several fans expressed their gratitude for his uplifting message, others criticized him for linking this serious moment to upcoming music. Numerous comments read “Free Durk,” whereas some suggested that Quando emerged victorious in the feud since he remains unscathed.

As reported by the U.S. attorney’s office, during his initial court hearing on Friday (Oct. 25) at the U.S. District Court in Miami, Durk renounced his right to an identity hearing and consented to remain in custody for transport to Los Angeles, California, where he will face arraignment at a later date, as detailed by The Chicago Tribune.
This news broke on the very day that the mayor of Broadview, Illinois, rescinded the keys to the city which Durk had been awarded on Oct. 18. The mayor also terminated their brief collaboration with his youth initiative, the Neighborhood Heroes Foundation. The mayor indicated that public sentiment in the community influenced this decision, despite Durk not yet being convicted of any wrongdoing.
Durk’s squad has not yet provided an official statement following his apprehension. He had recently postponed his album launch date to Nov. 22, having initially scheduled it near his birthday in October.
