Rich Homie Quan’s initial posthumous album, Forever Going In, is set to be released on Friday (Oct. 4), coinciding with what would have been his 35th birthday.

“Releasing at midnight! 34 tracks included,” an announcement from the rapper’s social media platforms declared on Thursday (Oct. 3). “Ironically, that’s the age I [departed]. Additionally, one more [track] because tomorrow marks a celebratory occasion! A [gift] for my supporters.”

This upcoming release is anticipated to feature collaborations from artists like 2 Chainz, Lil Tjay, Skilla Baby, Sukihana, Plies, Quicktrip, Duoo, and VVS. The cover art showcases a nostalgic image of Quan adorned with a crown, accompanied by the phrase, “I promise I will never cease going in,” referencing his 2014 project with the same title.

Notably, “Song Cry” will be absent from this compilation. The track was launched by Quan’s estate to mark his memorial service held in College Park, Georgia on Sept. 17.

Earlier this week, the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that Quan’s death was an accidental overdose. He passed away on Sept. 5 due to a deadly blend of substances, including fentanyl, alprazolam, codeine, promethazine, and THC.

“Though he leaves a significant void in our hearts, we take solace in the knowledge that his music and indomitable spirit will endure. Quan’s legacy will forever remain a soundtrack to our lives,” expressed the family of the late artist in a statement to People. “For this, we are thankful. Details regarding the celebration of life will be shared soon. We appreciate everyone for their kind words and support during this challenging time.”

Forever Going In will act as a continuation to 2022’s Family & Mula, which featured a single collaboration with NoCap. Subsequently, Quan expanded the project with an additional seven tracks, including “Spin,” “Real Life,” and “Bigger Problems.”
