Earlier this year, Rubi Rose and Druski subtly unveiled their relationship, and despite the fact that many believed it was merely a publicity stunt, she appeared to put those rumors to rest with a post commemorating their “two-week anniversary.” However, it seems the doubters were onto something.
On Tuesday (September 17), the “Big Mouth” artist appeared to confess that their romance was simply for show. “And just to clarify, I never slept with that guy. [That] n**ga paid for PR, not the p**sy,” she tweeted.
“He’s entertaining and charming, though!” Rose added in a move to soften the statement. “I only give my affection if I’m truly in love. [I don’t] care how wealthy a n**ga is. I’m wealthy [as f**k].”
During Paris Fashion Week, Rose declared herself “single,” subsequently followed by Druski affirming their split in an interview with Audacy’s V-103 in July. “When you attract a stunning woman of that caliber, it involves a lot,” he mentioned. “I don’t know if I was quite ready, but I gained valuable insights from it.”
The comedian elaborated, “As I move on from that [relationship], you better have your finances in order. I’m not saying that’s what transpired, [but] you need to be prepared because you never know when you’ll need to reach for that wallet.”
This year has proven to be immensely rewarding for Druski. On September 7, he conducted his inaugural Coulda Fest at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena. The event featured prominent acts like 21 Savage and GloRilla, with appearances from Lil Baby, Soulja Boy, and Kai Cenat as well.
On the flip side, Rose released “Deserve To Die,” produced by Bankroll Got It, in May. This heralded her anticipated return to the music scene, especially considering her last track was the 2023 release titled “Cherry.” So far, she hasn’t confirmed any follow-up to her debut mixtape, For The Streets.
