The RZA of the Wu-Tang Clan has recently shared his insights regarding the ongoing rivalry between Kendrick Lamar and Drake.

This iconic producer conversed with Complex earlier this week, delineating the distinctions between the two artists. He further remarked that Drake’s team provided him with some questionable guidance related to the dispute.

“Kendrick is innately gifted as a lyricist, while I perceive Drake to be a trained wordsmith,” RZA articulated. “You can train a boxer and he might excel, yet there are those who have a natural flair. Even though Drake has endless bars, Kendrick’s lyrical strength appears more potent. Thus, the attempt to measure them bar for bar was certainly not sound advice from Drake’s camp.”

RZA’s perspective on the feud stands in stark contrast to that of 50 Cent, who claimed Drake emerged victorious simply because of his substantial financial success. However, Fifty didn’t touch on lyrical prowess, technique, or the artists’ respective discographies in his assessment.

What are your thoughts on RZA’s comments? Do you concur or disagree?
