Teyana Taylor has taken note of Kayla Nicole’s insights shared during an episode of Angel Reese’s “Unapologetically Angel” aired on Thursday (Oct. 10). In her conversation with the WNBA athlete, Nicole was prompted to discuss “the wildest thing [she’s] done in a relationship.”

“I was in a relationship with a guy who broke up with me via text, and he left me for a singer/actress who was prominent at that moment,” Nicole recounted. The Pepperdine University graduate subsequently disclosed that she had dressed as the mentioned celebrity for Halloween. It wasn’t long before social media users made the connection, as vintage photos appeared of her portraying Taylor from Ye’s “Fade” music video.

Instagram on Saturday (Oct. 11) evening, the “Gonna Love Me” singer wrote an extensive reply. “Forget the Iman part. I’m divorced and enjoying my life. Nonetheless, her choice of phrasing was very inappropriate and unnecessary,” Taylor expressed. “She was fully aware of her actions. When that lady stated, ‘She was famous at the time’ [and] also declared, ‘[I don’t care] who sees it,’ it was extremely inappropriate and uncalled for. Most importantly, she anticipated people would investigate, which instantly ties my name to the drama.”

The Harlem vocalist subsequently accused Nicole of using the “Black card” regarding Taylor Swift’s relationship with her former flame, Travis Kelce. “[She] then turned around and attempted to intimidate the Black woman who was associated with her situationship [that] she claimed ‘discarded her’ for me,” Taylor continued. “Dressing like me for what purpose?”

She wrapped up, “The amusing part is, I actually showed some affection under her post when she shared it, just as I did for the other 3,736,262,626 individuals who dressed up as me for Halloween. All the while, I [wasn’t] aware she was being malicious. Now I see. So, in that case, petty panties on. [I] had my little fun, I made my remarks, and now I’m finished and heading back to set!”
