Toosii is gearing up for the unveiling of JADED, set to be released on Friday (Oct. 4). As part of the lead-up to its launch, he has revealed the official lineup of tracks, which includes artists such as Kehlani, Gunna, and Muni Long.
The 13-track collection opens with “Meet Me Outside,” followed by “Champs Élysées,” which debuted last September. The music video associated with the latter has already amassed over 2.3 million views. Additionally, the album features August’s “Fuk You Mean,” which interestingly resembles the title of Gunna’s “fukumean.”
In the lead-up to this eagerly awaited project, Toosii has teased visuals for tracks like “Sticks and Stones,” “Party Girl Anthem,” and “I Do.” The previously mentioned song will feature the talent India Love in a likely role as Toosii’s inspiration.
Initially slated for a November 2023 launch, JADED was postponed. “A heartfelt thank you to all my supporters for your patience and for nurturing my growth,” Toosii expressed through an Instagram update last month. “This year has been all about personal development for me. I spent seven months focusing on my mental health, grappling with stress and depression while balancing fatherhood with my music career. It has been quite challenging. I truly appreciate your patience. The wait is nearly over.”
On October 19, Toosii will reportedly join Rod Wave on his “Last Lap Tour” as a supporting act. This tour is set to hit major cities including Houston, Memphis, Detroit, Chicago, North Carolina, Nashville, and New Orleans. Other notable artists featured on this tour include Moneybagg Yo, Lil Poppa, Dess Dior, and Eelmatic.
Following NAUJOUR, which included popular tracks like “Pull Up” with 21 Savage, “Another Love Song,” and the four-times Platinum hit “Favorite Song,” JADED promises to be another significant project.
