Valentina Sampaio has expressed immense joy and recognition after her appearance in the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, marking a groundbreaking moment as one of the initial trans models to grace the runway.
After her monumental debut, we had a chat with the Brazilian beauty, who emphasized that she fully grasps the importance of her runway walk, admitting that the experience felt “like a dream come to fruition.”
She stated, … “This is a moment that so many have told me was impossible. They said I could never achieve this dream — but look, I just did.”
Valentina commended Victoria’s Secret for inviting her to partake in the resurrected fashion show, expressing that it provided her with a feeling of validation for her identity as a model.
She remarked, … “This is undoubtedly a collective advancement in honoring the rights of my community, allowing us to endure and exist with dignity.”
As expected, Valentina and Alex Consani‘s participation in the VS Fashion Show stirred significant reactions from online trolls. However, the model shared with us that she won’t allow the negativity to dampen her spirits.
In fact, Valentina noted that the backlash hardly affected her positivity following the event, stating, … “We are present. We have always been here. And we will continue to be.”
