On Wednesday, September 18, Coke Studio — presented by The Coca-Cola Company — announced Usher and Tyla as its newest collaborators. The duo is set to bring forth new music and live performances, with details on the releases to be shared in the future.
“Joining this year’s Coke Studio lineup is an incredible honor and a chance to connect with my audience through music,” Usher expressed, as reported by Billboard. “Collaborating with Coca-Cola to create these memorable experiences is exhilarating, and I eagerly await for fans to join us in the magic we are creating together.”
The Grammy-winning superstar will perform live in October in Atlanta, delivering a live performance of his hit song, while Tyla will take the stage in Johannesburg, South Africa, later this year.
The “Jump” sensation shared her excitement, “I can’t wait to perform in my hometown of Johannesburg as a part of the Coke Studio experience. It’s an honor to bring these vibrant moments to life and share the excitement and joy with music enthusiasts around the globe.”
“We’re elated to welcome two of our favorite talents, Usher and Tyla, to our stellar 2024 lineup,” remarked The Coca-Cola Company’s Global Head of Music and Culture Marketing, Josh Burke. “This year, Coke Studio provides unmatched access to exclusive content and experiences that are truly one-of-a-kind.”
Earlier this month, both artists gained viral attention for dancing to “Water” together during the Brooklyn stop of Usher’s “PAST PRESENT FUTURE Tour.” This tour is set to conclude in 2025, with the U.K. and European segment kicking off a few months into the upcoming year.
While the Queen of Popiano regrettably had to postpone her debut album tour due to a “deteriorating injury,” she recently announced a deluxe edition in the works. Aside from her breakthrough single, the album features collaborations with Gunna, Travis Scott, and Tems, among others.
