Ye’s anticipated solo album, BULLY, could be arriving much sooner than fans thought. On Wednesday (Oct. 23), the artist known for “All Falls Down” revealed the official cover art, which was presented in monochrome.

The photograph was captured by renowned Japanese lensman Daidō Moriyama and showcased an individual grinning, likely adorned with Ye’s custom grillz. This titanium mouthpiece was initially introduced back in January. It drew clear inspiration from Richard Kiel’s portrayal of Jaws in the 1977 film The Spy Who Loved Me.

“Three albums in one year. Incredible,” commented one excited fan. Another user on Instagram expressed, “Thank God, I’ve lived long enough to witness this.” A separate comment stated, “I better hear Yuno Miles on the first song on the album,” possibly alluding to the meme rapper who didn’t make the cut for VULTURES 2 track “BOMB.”

Up to this point, BULLY has been hinted at with unofficial tracks “BEAUTY AND THE BEAST” and “PREACHER MAN,” both of which were first teased in Haikou, China.

It’s also notable that Ye previously mentioned his grillz in a remix of Future and Metro Boomin’s “Like That.” Alongside taking swipes at Drake and J. Cole, the Chicago artist delivered lines such as, “Five hundred down on the bottom, five hundred up at the top/ Titanium grillz, call that ‘smile on the rocks.’”

Ye possesses a well-known propensity for abandoning projects. Yandhi was primed for release in 2018 as a sequel to the artist’s self-titled work, yet it never materialized. Similarly, Turbo Grafx 16 was anticipated for a 2016 drop, teased by former collaborator Pete Rock.

That said, enthusiasts are also eager to know if Ye and Ty Dolla Sign’s VULTURES 3 is still slated for a 2024 debut. The previous entries in their album series were released much later than anticipated, with VULTURES 2 possibly missing out on the No. 1 position on the Billboard 200 chart because of continuous delays.
