Ye has hinted that his latest project, BULLY, is “on the horizon,” as he teased on Tuesday (Oct. 15). The rapper from Chicago took to Instagram to share a revamped version of “BEAUTY AND THE BEAST,” which he performed live for the first time in China.

“Revised from Tokyo,” he noted in the caption. “Ran the ASR through the SP 1,200.” In the clip, Ye melodiously sings, “It’s been a long time coming / Fresh new tires, I’m still running / There are a few things I’m overcoming / But the checks still clear, still.”

He went on, “Think about it every night and day to try to stay distant, to keep my audience engaged / Don’t take this as disrespect, I’m here attempting to redirect / I’m considering it every night and day to find a way to stay away, to keep my audience engaged / Don’t view this as disrespect, I’m still here in a trifecta.”

“BEAUTY AND THE BEAST” prominently includes a sample from The Mad Lads’ ’60s hit “Don’t Have to Shop Around,” which resonates throughout the outro.

As of this report, BULLY currently lacks a confirmed release date. Nonetheless, “BEAUTY AND THE BEAST” may feature on the album alongside “PREACHER MAN,” another track teased during the listening experience for Ye and Ty Dolla Sign’s VULTURES in Haikou, China.

Back in February, the pair unveiled their inaugural collaborative project, VULTURES 1, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart with an impressive 148,000 album-equivalent units. Among its standout tracks were “CARNIVAL,” “BACK TO ME,” and “TALKING.” The album also featured contributions from artists like Playboi Carti, North West, Chris Brown, YG, and Lil Durk, to name just a few.

Following several postponements, Ye and Ty Dolla Sign released VULTURES 2 in August. This project included tracks such as “FOREVER ROLLING” with Lil Durk and “530.” However, it’s uncertain if or when a third installment will be completed before 2024 concludes, as initially intended.
