Yeat has achieved his first No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart with his album LYFESTYLE, according to reports from Sunday (Oct. 27). This extensive 22-track collection, which also happens to be his second album release this year, sold an impressive 89,000 album-equivalent units.

Per Luminate statistics, 60,000 of those units were derived from actual album sales, while SEA units accounted for 29,000 — which translates to 39.67 million on-demand streams. One significant aspect might be that LYFESTYLE was Yeat’s inaugural CD release. The rising star from California also offered various boxed sets that incorporated merch such as T-shirts, a balaclava, and a hoodie.

In response to his album reaching the top of the chart, Yeat shared his excitement on Instagram Stories, stating, “[Love] y’all” and accompanied it with a goat and two merman emojis.

LYFESTYLE features memorable tracks like “GO2WORK,” “GEEK TIMË,” and “STFU.” The album also boasts collaborations with artists like Kodak Black, Lil Durk, Summrs, and Don Toliver, who had previously worked with Yeat on “GEEKED UP” from the deluxe edition of HARDSTONE PSYCHO.

LYFESTYLE is essentially just my usual rap style. It’s not ahead of its time. It’s not an entirely different universe,” Yeat explained to The FADER regarding his album. “This time, it took longer than it usually does. I aimed for everything to feel cohesive, though not truly seamless.”

His manager, Zack Bia, added, “That’s because you’ve been focusing on it. This one is a bit more thoughtfully curated.”

The “Breathe” artist concluded his “Eurolyfe Tour” earlier this month, with performances in cities such as London, Berlin, Paris, Milan, and a host of others across the UK and Europe. Although a North American tour has not yet been announced, fans can look forward to seeing him at Rolling Loud Miami this December.

LYFESTYLE serves as a sequel to February’s 2093, which was released in two segments. The latter portion included “As We Speak” featuring Drake.
