Zak Bagans is gearing up to take his “Ghost Adventures” crew to the iconic “Poltergeist” residence for their next on-site probe … according to TMZ.
The ghost hunting authority revealed to TMZ that his team will visit the California house in Simi Valley — prominently featured in the horror classic — in mid-November, aiming to delve into the more eerie elements of the location.
Zak mentioned that initial investigations indicate the new proprietor has been significantly impacted by something lurking within the home … and that the owner specifically contacted them in search of insight.
Zak and his team will mark the first group of paranormal professionals to explore the home … which was listed for sale for the initial time in 45 years this past summer.
The star of “Ghost Adventures” shared that the new owner from Los Gatos — who aims to convert the house into an Airbnb emulating the 1982 film — reported experiencing two separate episodes of dizziness while inside.
Zak stated the homeowner also expressed that he felt an overwhelming sense of discomfort, nausea, chills, and a strange “pulling” sensation while on the property … despite having no known medical conditions.
Reportedly, conditions became so troubling that at one point, the owner found it necessary to sit down on the staircase to regain his composure.
Zak also mentioned that he had a conversation with a relative connected to the former owner … who disclosed that several family members had passed away in the home — including an uncle and a grandfather.
For those not acquainted with the ‘Poltergeist’ series, many speculate it to be cursed due to the untimely deaths of its stars Heather O’Rourke and Dominique Dunne.
Nonetheless, Zak emphasizes that he approaches the inquiry without “any preconceived beliefs regarding the house’s supernatural activity.”
He further notes … “However, the occurrence of at least two fatalities, alongside the house’s significant involvement in a film bearing a notorious curse, certainly warrants an examination to determine if the new proprietor’s assertions can be validated through paranormal data obtained via scientific instruments.”
ZB also intends to showcase the film’s original clown doll, which he obtained for an impressive $80K in 2020.
Wishing you thrilling haunts, Zak!!!
